Tailored integration of functions is the solution
XINOMER developed a halogen free flame-retardant XRX compound based on a standard polymer. The required performance regarding dimensional stability at high temperature, normally only found in engineering plastics, is guaranteed by the innovative post-process of booster supported radiation-crosslinking. This ensures maximum end-product performance, while material processing in injection moulding is possible like any other standard polymer, including in-house recycling of production waste.
